Following the unveiling of the All New MG4 EV at the MG Summer Conference last week, MG are delighted to announce further details and confirmed UK pricing.
As the first model to use the innovative new Modular Scalable Platform, All New MG4 EV will pave the way for the next generation of all-electric MGs that will feature across a wide range of forthcoming cars.
The advanced platform will offer drivers superb road-holding and engagement, thanks to 50:50 weight distribution, a rear-wheel drive configuration and a low centre of gravity afforded by the battery design and placement.
As well as a modern, striking new design language, All New MG4 EV offers exceptional storage, cabin and boot space within its compact exterior dimensions thanks to its stretched 2,705mm wheelbase. This is just 15mm shorter than the MG HS (large SUV) which is a full 300mm longer overall making the MG 4 EV perfect for UK roads and parking spaces.
Rear boot capacity is also enhanced by class-leading thin battery technology, which measures just 110mm in height.
All New MG4 EV will also come with a range of innovative features, many of which are being introduced for the first time, designed to improve driver comfort, convenience and safety.
All New MG4 EV benefits from a completely new approach to interior design, which is minimalist but completely functional and benefits from a huge amount of interior and storage space.
The interior is dominated by 2 screens and the floating centre console. The configurable 7" driver display interacts in real time with the 10.25" floating touchscreen. Apple Car Play and Android Auto is standard on both trim levels.
Initially, MG Motor UK will offer the All New MG4 EV in two battery capacities and two trim levels as below; SE Models come with comprehensively equipped with Trophy models adding significant upgrades in terms of exterior visual enhancements and hi tech functionality.
Starting from just £25,995 for the SE Standard Range, All New MG4 EV has been positioned to be completely disruptive in the UK EV market when it comes to pricing. Quite simply, there is nothing available which will be able to compete with the MG4 EV from a combination of space, technology, equipment, warranty and price.
MG will also offer the added convenience of the Long Range battery in the SE for a further £2,500. This will offer a range of 281 miles, which is by far and away the most miles per £ available in the UK market today.
Finally, the Long Range Trophy completes the line up with an unbeatable level of equipment, tech and range.
There are 2 new colours for All New MG4 EV - Camden Grey and Volcano Orange (only available on Trophy models). Trophy models also benefit from the striking black 2 tone roof which is a standard item of equipment.
The All NEW electric MG4 will be available for demos at Vic Young MG by mid-September.
A limited amount of stock will be available to buy by end of September / early October.
