VIC YOUNG SERVICE AWARD SHORTLIST AT THE NORTH EAST BUSINESS AWARDS 2017​

Vic Young Ltd are pleased to announce we have been shortlisted for the Services Award category at the Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside heat of the North East Business Awards 2017, which are due to take place at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland on Thursday 16th March 2017.

The highly anticipated regional awards honours North East businesses and celebrates excellence in 13 categories ranging from innovation and manufacturing and newcomer of the year.

A long established and family run business, Vic Young Ltd has been in business for over 40 years. Their portfolio has grown to include Vic Young Mobility, a specialist Motability division which supplies cars, adaptations and wheelchair accessible vehicles and Vic Young Conversions which develops unique conversions for various specialist vehicles including those for full Motability approval.

The Services Award, sponsored by the North East Chamber of Commerce and Middlesbrough College, rewards and recognises professional service organisations that have demonstrable strength in service excellence, service differentiation, business growth, and innovation.

Last year, Vic Young won the Heart of the Community award at the North East Business Awards in April. The award recognises Vic Young’s contribution to South Tyneside and the wider North East for its support of a number of local charities and individuals. For example, it has supported charities including St Clare’s Hospice, Grace House, St Oswald’s Hospice and the Percy Headley Foundation by providing them with new vehicles.

The winners will be announced at the Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside heat of the North East Business Awards dinner on Thursday 16th March 2017 at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland.
