Mobility Conversions

Our mobility conversions give those with limited freedom of movement to travel with ease. Modifications can be made to the cabin and behind the wheel to satisfy customers that intend to drive or be driven in their chosen vehicle.

We are approved by Motability, the nation’s leading mobility charity, to complete specific conversions on behalf of its users. You can therefore trust the quality of our work and depend on your own mobility vehicle.

Which models are used?

Virtually any model can be adapted for mobility purposes, but only certain vehicles will be suitable for specific requirements. Compact cars such as the Nissan NV200 and Renault Kangoo are well suited to families that want to keep running costs low and enjoy the flexibility to carry multiple passengers. Conversions for the likes of the Nissan Interstar and Renault Master are often chosen by charities, care homes and public bodies that require space for more passengers, plus wheelchair accessibility.

What type of conversions are available?

A wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) enables any wheelchair user to travel as a passenger or driver without leaving their chair. Multiple modifications are often needed and can include hand controls, electronic accelerators, boot hoists, or swivel seats. Ramps or electric lifts help passengers into and out of the vehicle safely, and ISOFIX anchor fixtures allow infants to be carried in a car seat.
