Vic Young is outdoing the competition by being the best performing independent MG garage in the country. The family-run dealer began selling new MG cars in 2017 and has witnessed a growth ever since, with 2019 showing a significant increase in the interest for the MG brand.
Darren Hannah, Sales Manager at Vic Young, is delighted with the success of the MG range this year: “MGs are superb value for money and strong competitors against rival models. Plus, with 7 Year Warranty across the range, you can’t go wrong. 2019 was a fantastic year for Vic Young and we will be aiming even higher in 2020 with the introduction of even more MG models.”
Already achieving results this year, MG outsold Fiat, Dacia, Jeep and Suzuki in January and are up 144% on car registrations compared to January 2019.
Vic Young customer Sue Cain loved her new MG3 supermini, saying: “It’s a nice looking car, it drives really well and we got a great deal from Vic Young MG. The service was impeccable.”
The fastest growing car manufacturer in the country, MG Motor UK smashed its own records last year and recently announced a 24th consecutive month of year-on-year volume growth.
MG Motor UK broke all of their previous sales records last year, closing out 2019 with a 45% increase from 2018.
Vic Young, Managing Director commented: “It’s been superb to be a part of the successful revival of the much loved MG brand. They are beginning to make a lot of noise in the market and I can only see this growing stronger with the launch of the new hybrid in the autumn, as well as other models.”
As well as the new electric MG EV winning Medium EV of the Year at the Company Car & Van Awards, MG Motor UK also achieved Five Star Euro NCAP twice and unleashed their first TV ad in three years. MG has certainly made it mark and Vic Young is looking to achieve high with the brand in 2020.
