At Vic Young Ltd, we have been an approved MG service centre since 2017.
We recommend that every new MG vehicle receive a service every 15,000 miles (or 10,000 miles for 16MY MG3 with Stop/Start) or every year.
Vic Young will service and carry out maintenance in conjunction with the terms of your vehicle’s warranty. You can register your car on the Digital Service Record platform so you can view the service history of your MG.

9. Check cooling system pressure cap, hoses and connections | 21. Inspect suspension and steering rack |
10. Inspect air condition hoses | 22. Apply anti seize compound to wheel hubs and refit road wheels in original hub/stud position |
11. Check auxiliary drive belts | 23. Check tyre pressures, record reading and adjust if necessary |
12. Check condition of engine mounting | 24. Carry out road test, check for correct function of all vehicle systems |

The warranty period commences on the date of first registration. MG covers vehicles (registered on or after
01/09/2019) for unlimited mileage up to 12 months, and for 80,000 miles between 13 months and 84 months
(whichever comes sooner). The warranty transfers to each new owner so long as it has not expired.

Though a fully stamped service book helps maximise the residual value of your MG, it can become lost or be misplaced. Because of this, owners may find it difficult to prove the service history and warranty information of their vehicle
These details will be logged on our Digital Service Records system when you come to Vic Young for your service. This means you can access your vehicle’s service history via a national database of MG dealers.
Having your information in one place means we will know when your service is due so we can notify you.
With each service of your MG, you will be given free 12 months’ MG Assistance cover.

Vic Young will need to enrol the completed service on the Digital Service Record system which will require your authorisation and agreement to the Terms & Conditions. 12 months MG Assistance is supplied by The AA and available for any MG model (excluding MG TF) first registered in the UK on or after 01.04.2011. Confirmation of MG Assistance cover will be sent within 28 days of Digital Service Record creation.
