The Free Excess Return Voucher is available for your new or used MG. Simply ask your dealer to apply for your free Driveaway Insurance and you’ll be given a voucher for one year’s FREE Excess Return, worth up to £250.
Should you need to make an accident claim, call MG Excess Return first on 0330 100 3167 before your insurer and we’ll pay back up to £250 of your motor insurance excess and manage your claim.
It doesn’t matter who you’re insured by.
We’ll exercise your right to a repair at our MG Approved Repair centre, using genuine parts which helps to protect your car’s safety standard, warranties and resale value. This isn’t guaranteed by most UK insurers. You’ll also get a courtesy car while your car is repaired and accident recovery if your MG isn’t driveable.
To redeem the voucher you must call the dedicated MG Excess Return hotline first on 0330 100 3167 after a vehicle accident, whoever you are insured by. The claim must be accepted and managed by MG Excess Return and the accident repair carried out at an MG Approved Bodyshop. For full Terms and Conditions please see the Excess Return Voucher.

Free Driveaway Insurance and Annual Insurance
The offer of insurance is subject to eligibility and underwriting criteria. All cover is subject to the terms and conditions of the policy, see the Policy Document at mgcarinsurance.co.uk/docs. Free Driveaway Insurance is available to customers purchasing a new or used MG from an MG dealer and who are eligible for a quotation for Annual Insurance. Please refer to your insurance certificate for details on the duration of your Driveaway Insurance. Other vehicle makes will receive temporary Get Me Home Cover which expires at 23:59 on the second day. Get Me Home Cover may also be issued instead of Driveaway Insurance where the applicant does not qualify for Annual Insurance.
